In a heartfelt video circulating on social media, Bukom Banku is seen overwhelmed with emotion, shedding tears as he reacts to the court’s decision. He described the sentence as excessively harsh and called upon the nation’s leadership to consider clemency.

“Ghanaians the Agradaa’s case is very painful to me, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the father of the Nation, if even Nana Agradaa has sinned against you, please forget it and forgive her. 15 years of jail with hard labor is too harsh on her.” Bukom Banku lamented.

While acknowledging the gravity of Agradaa’s actions, Bukom Banku emphasized the importance of forgiveness, invoking the adage, “To err is human; to forgive, divine.” He urged the President and the judiciary to show compassion, suggesting that a reduced sentence would still serve justice while allowing for rehabilitation.
