Ghanaian rapper Awal Mohammed, who gained prominence as the third runner-up in the inaugural season of TV3’s Talented Kidz in 2010, has publicly extended an olive branch to his former mentor, Sarkodie.
During a heartfelt appearance on Dr. Pounds’ show on Hitz FM, Awal expressed deep contrite for past actions that may have strained their relationship.

Reflecting on their shared history, Awal acknowledged the significant role Sarkodie played in his early career, including financial support for his education.
He admitted to possible missteps that might have caused a rift, stating, “Maybe I did something that upset him. I want to take this opportunity to apologize and ask him to accept me back as his son.”
