The Despite Automobile Museum is commissioned by Osei Kwame Despite, a prominent Ghanaian business mogul.
The museum showcases Dr. Osei Kwame’s 30-year passion for collecting vehicles and features an impressive mix of antique and luxury automobiles, curated for both recreational and educational purposes.
The opening ceremony drew a high-profile guest list including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, businessman Ibrahim Mahama, real estate mogul Nana Kwame Bediako, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and rapper Sarkodie, among others. Their presence underscored the significance of the museum as both a cultural and social landmark.

The Despite Automobile Museum is owned by Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, a 60-year-old Ghanaian business mogul and media magnate.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Despite Group of Companies, which includes the flagship Despite Media.
