Ghana and Morocco Go Into a Visa-Free Waiver Agreement.
Ghana and Morocco have strengthened their diplomatic relations by agreeing to a visa-free-waiver agreement for both countries.

This includes a visa waiver for all categories of travelers from both countries.
According to the Ghanaian foreign minister, “an online authorization, which will be granted within 24 hours without embassy appointments, is all thatโs needed.”
Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, via his official Facebook page, announced his work visit to the office of the Foreign Minister of Morocco, H.E. Nasser Bourita, where the two countries agreed to a visa-free waiver agreement.
With immediate effect, Ghanaians will no longer require traditional visas to travel to Morocco. This is one of the significant agreements reached yesterday with the Foreign Minister of Morocco, H.E. Nasser Bourita on my 2-day working visit.
According to Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, there will be an increase in direct flights from both countries, with the existing ones following this new agreement.

He also indicated that the two countries “expect this bilateral visa waiver policy to greatly facilitate trade, tourism, and deepen people-to-people engagements between both countries.”

Ablakwa stated that Africa’s borders should not divide us, but rather connect us.
The borders in Africa must not be allowed to divide us โ they can be bridges of connectivity.
