“I Know Where You Stay” – KOKA Threatened To Go After an EOCO Officer.

During a demonstration organized by supporters of the New Patriotic Party and the minority caucus in parliament to protest the release of Chairman Wontumi, there has been a surge of attention on social media surrounding entertainment pundit and political critic KoKa. A video has gone viral showing him threatening an officer from the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).

Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, also known as KOKA, has gained attention on social media after a video surfaced showing him threatening an officer at EOCO, stating, “I know where you live. Continue mocking us, and that time will come.”

KOKA, while boldly expressing those daring words, was also seen making a fatal gesture.

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, the minority in parliament boycotted hearings and marched to the forecourt of the Economic and Organized Crime Office to protest for the release of Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional NPP chairman.

The protest match, led by the Minority leader, Hon. Afenyo, attracted some NPP party members and sympathizers who thronged the office of the EOCO on Thursday afternoon.

Chairman Wontumi was arrested by the EOCO on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, after responding to an invitation from the Ghana Police to assist with their investigation into illegal mining.

Wontumi was granted bail of Ghs50,000 on Wednesday with two sureties. The Ashanti regional NPP party chairman has provided one surety and is still waiting for an additional one to secure his release.
