The Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN), student wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in collaboration with the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary Alumni Association, organized a remembrance service in honor of the late Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah on the University of Cape Coast (UCC) campus in Ghanaโs central region on August 14,2025.
The memorial event brought together TEIN executives, members, and alumni to celebrate the life and legacy of the late statesman and medical doctor. Among those present were Comrade Benjamin Dagbe (President-elect of TEIN UCC) and Wisdom Arkoh Acquah (Vice President of TEIN CCTU). Also in attendance were members of the Pope John Alumni Association and representatives from Krobo Girls Senior High School.
The gathering paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. Omane Boamahโs achievements, especially as a proud alumnus of Pope John Seminary and a graduate of the University of Ghana Medical School. His contributions to public service, medicine, and national development were fondly remembered and honored.
The event served as a moment of unity and reflection for students and alumni, celebrating the impactful life of a man whose legacy continues to inspire many across the country.
